Marketing Director

Primary responsibilities:
  • Establish a comprehensive marketing strategy and execution plan in collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Assists in the implementation of an integrated marketing plan.
  • Leverage the expertise of internal subject-matter experts to identify and develop thought leadership
  • Plan and execute marketing tactics across multiple channels in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the company marketing plan.
  • Track, create and analyse marketing analytics and lead generation reports related to marketing efforts, and report on KPIs to the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Chairman.
  • Guide the company on latest trends and best practices in implementing a best-in-class marketing program
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Write and edit additional marketing collateral, including but not limited to press releases, website copy, email outreach campaigns, and product and service line sales sheets.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial officer to facilitate an internal communications program.
  • Track and report on key metrics related to the company’s marketing activities.
  • Ensure that Marketing team members identify industry trends and develop competitive intelligence; ensure that Marketing team members attend training to develop relevant knowledge, and skills. 
  • Analyses customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information
  • Supports sales staff by providing sales leads and information about market trends

Qualifications and Experience required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, life science marketing experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel; Google Analytics, Web Designer, Google AdWords, Remarketing; Wordpress, HTML.
  • Experience using an Automated Marketing Software, experience a plus.
  • Excellent personal skills and experience working in a team environment.
