The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible from planning and managing overall project operations for assigned projects including timelines, budgets, resources, vendors, client expectations and key project deliverables in compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements and ICH/GCP. The project manager also oversees the activities of cross-functional teams based on the project’s scope. The position reports to the Project Management Branch.     
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Managing the project initiation and planning processes by developing project plans, work breakdown structure, project schedule and overall budget. 
  • Managing the project team by distributing tasks, tracking performance, providing feedback, resolving issues and managing change to optimize project performance. 
  • Ensuring effective communication across multiple teams, organizations and geographic areas, including Sponsor communication and management. 
  • Monitoring, controlling, analyzing and reporting project performance; identifying any areas in which changes to the plan are required; initiating the corresponding changes and/or change orders when necessary. 
  • Managing the vendor qualification and selection for clinical trials as well as the performance and delivery of services by external vendors in the clinical trial.
  • Manages site recruitment strategies and campaigns as well as communications across sites as needed throughout a clinical trial.
  • Performing periodic review of documentation generation to ensure accuracy.
  • Providing support and training to project team members.
Candidate Profile: 
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Experience running and delivering projects in a service based industry
  • Experience in the Clinical Research Industry
  • Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team in a matrix environment
  • A positive, energetic and flexible attitude, with a reputation for being a results and delivery-oriented self-starter
  • Proven complex problem solving and decision making skills
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office. 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Candidate should either reside in Southern Florida or should be “very interested” in relocating to Florida.
